Wildlife artist, naturalist


Danièle Désourdy was born in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada, in 1969.
Coming from an artistic environment, she grew up immersed in creativity, her journey being deeply influenced by the work of her mother, an artist recognized both in Quebec and internationally.
This early immersion in the world of art fueled his passion and allowed him to develop a unique way of observing the world, marked by subtlety and sensitivity.
From a young age, it became clear that she would pursue an artistic path. She graduated from FACE (Fine Arts Core Education) in Montreal, a high school dedicated to artistic development, and then continued her training in visual arts at Cégep du Vieux Montréal. For several years thereafter, she explored and worked on various artistic projects.
It was following a significant encounter with a wildlife painter that her deep desire to paint nature was born. Through her works, she expresses her passion for flora and fauna, capturing the beauty and complexity of living beings and their environment, while absorbing their wisdom and harmony.
Over the years, she has received several awards and distinctions, including an exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris and two gold medals at the International Prize for Art Professionals, awarded by Mondial Art Academia . Since 2017, she has devoted herself fully to her art in the suburbs of Montreal.
His works can be found in several private collections, both in Quebec and internationally.
